Some people are looking for the lightest notebook computers while others maybe be looking for the cheapest laptops. It really comes down to what kind of computing you are doing and then you’ll be able to decide what kind of labtop is right for you. Today I just wanted to speak a bit about durable laptops for those of you who need something a bit more rugged.
Basically the reason durable laptops have become popular is for the same reason lightweight notebooks are popular – People are often on the go and find them selves in all sorts of situations where they might need to use there lap top computer. Originally the more rugged laptops and were built for just military or police needs. But now they have hit the mainstream a bit more.
I must admit that the average notebook computer user will not need durable laptops for daily use but think of cars like the Hummer, how many people actually need one of those to drive to the mall to do their Sunday shopping. So what it comes down to in my opinion is mostly people buy these durable notebooks because of style but there is another factor too.
Think about his scenario. You work in a very high paced office environment or school with kids. The chances of your laptops being thrown around a bit or knocked to the ground are kind of high. So in this case investing in durable laptops for your office staff would probably be a smart choice. You also might be working in a field where you work outdoors. In this case investing in the lightest notebook computers wouldn’t be smart you’d need a computer more rugged to handle the environment that you are working in.
