Wide Screen Laptops – An Introduction

There are probably a bunch of reasons why you might be looking around for inexpensive wide screen laptops. Some people say they just like a bigger notebook display for business; students seem to like it, and especially people who are into watching movies or doing gaming on their notebooks. Well as we continue our search for the best laptop computer around today I’d like to try and speak about some research that I’ve found related to wide screen laptops and notebooks.

The most common size when it comes to buying widescreen notebooks and laptops is probably right around 17 inches. I personally don’t like them when they are too wide. Unless you are the kind of person mostly doing your work out of your home studio or office I would recommend going for a notebook that has a 15 inch screen or less. If you insist on going for a wide screen notebook you will soon see that if you have a if you do a lot of travel you will be regretting the fact that you didn’t stick with a portable laptop since the wider the screen is the harder it is to get it in and out of your computer bag.

That being said today I’d like to mention a few of the cheapest wide screen notebooks that I have been able to find out there on the market for you. First off you can try the 17 inch Acer Aspire. It is definitely one of the cheapest notebooks out there when you’re thinking of width but the Acer name is trusted. It’s only about $600US and has all that you will need but the processor is Athlon and it also weighs a hefty 7.4 pounds. It would be a good machine if you’re looking for a inexpensive lab top that you just want to use around the home.

If you want wides screen laptops that is more of a lightweight notebook computer then you might want to try out something like the HP Pavilion DV9535US Entertainment 17″ Laptop. This looks like a great machine. It comes with Windows Vista, and a 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 processor. It also is stocked with a 160GB hard drive, and can handle up to 2GB of Ram. This would be a great notebook for watching DVD’s, doing design work, or even business and you can find if for around $1000 US which makes it one of the fairly inexpensive laptops on the market these days!

Fast Quick Start Notebooks and Laptops Are Here

Yes they’ve arrived or at least are coming soon, fast and quick start notebooks and laptops are on their way. As you all know we live in a time and age where people do not want to wait for anything anymore this includes the time it takes for their notebooks and laptops to boot up. We all want things now and our patience level has really dwindled since the Internet and speed of technology has become so popularized.

Well because the need of speed has increased so much and consumers these days just don’t want to wait for their personal notebooks to boot up the industry and PC computer companies have responded to this demand. First it was the lightest notebooks, then durable laptops, and now its quick start computers that start up within about 20 seconds from the time you push the power button.

Some of the companies that are in the fore front of this technology are companies like Dell and HP. Most people don’t really need quick start laptops but because of our overall lack of patience this is what we are going to get it seems like. I guess I can understand because if the boot up time takes a couple of minutes around here it seems like eternity.

I have resorted to pressing the power button on my lovely widescreen notebook, going to brush my teeth, and then by the time I’m back in front of my computer I’m ready to get to work. To me it’s honestly no hassle at all. I’d rather get my self a good quality, laptop at a cheap price that works well then worry about quick start laptops at a hefty price. But I guess it all comes down to preference and in this high new tech world we get to choose and that is the most important when it comes to buying a notebook!
